Lou Gehrig by Nathan Echeverria

Hello. I'm doing a blog about Lou Gehrig. He's A baseball player. He played for the Yankees. He was born in the Yorkville section in New York. He played for the Yankees because he wanted to get money for his parents. He never missed a game for the Yankees. He stopped playing baseball because he could not hit hard like he used to. He died on June 2, 1941 at night. ''The people announced that there will be no speeches."

  1. Lou Gehrig is a famous Yankee. He was a great player and the fans really loved him. At the end of his career he gave a speech in front of all the fans at Yankee Stadium where he said that he felt that he was the luckiest man on the face of the earth. Do you like baseball? What is your favorite team?

  2. If I were to select my favorite Yankee baseball players of all time, I would choose Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle and Mariano Rivera, who is still pitching for the team.
