Martin Luther King Jr was born January 15, 1929 and was from Atlanta. Martin Luther king Jr. changed how people acted with each other, and gave black people the same sort of freedom in the way that they had more privilege and rights. Martin Luther king Jr had a dream, by making a well known speech '' I HAVE A DREAM.'' In 1929 both his father and grandfather were baptist preachers who had been acively involved in the civil rights movement.
I remember Martin Luther King's "I have a Dream Speech." He gave it in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. One of the most famous lines in the speech is that he wanted his young children to be judged by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. He was a pacifist which means that he believed on non-violence. He was a very brave man. PZ
ReplyDeleteMartin Luther King was indeed a very brave man who believed in achieving his goals in a non-violent way. The world would be a far better place if we all followed his advice.
