Martin Luther King Jr. by Josephine Moreno and Miroslava Romero

My hero is Martin Luther King Jr. He was from Atlanta, Georgia. He was born in january 15, 1929.

Black people always sat in the back of the bus and the white people had to sit in the front of the bus. Martin accomplished the end of this because it wasn't fair that the black people couldn't sit in the front of the bus. He accomplished his goal  by changing the law that black people couldn't sit in the front of the bus. That way he made black people's lives easier.

  1. I remember Martin Luther King's "I have a Dream Speech." He gave it in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. One of the most famous lines in the speech is that he wanted his young children to be judged by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. He was a pacifist which means that he believed on non-violence.

  2. Martin Luther King was a brave man who risked his safety to make life better for all Americans, regardless of their color. There is a special memorial for him in Washington, D.C., our nation's capital.
